We are looking for an ambitious and energetic Business Development Manager to help us expand our clientele. You will be the front of the company and will have the dedication to create and apply an effective sales strategy.
The goal is to drive sustainable financial growth through boosting sales and forging strong relationships with clients.
1. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Identify and execute new opportunities in international markets that will enhance the product offerings and deliver incremental revenue and profit.
- Conduct in-depth market research to identify new international business development opportunities in international markets, this is to include identifying new potential partners or acquisitions overseas.
- Provide strategic advice to the Director of Marketing and Admissions to meet organizational budgeting and approval processes, to develop and implement International Market plans.
- Develop and implement customer relationship programs including agent training, customer contact/communication plans, and enquiry management and create and manage follow up systems.
- Contribute to the development of policies and procedures to enhance the company’s business development and recruiting practices.
- Prepare sales contracts ensuring adherence to law-established rules and guidelines.
- Provide trustworthy feedback and after-sales support.
- Travel to build long-term relationships with new and existing customers.
- Develop entry level staff into valuable salespeople.
2. QUALIFICATIONS
- Master’s degree or equivalent in Pharmaceutical Science or Business Administration.
- The person will have a minimum of 5 years senior B2B consultative sales experience with at least 2 years in a management role, with an impressive proven track record of achieving sales targets and results in a challenging environment.
- Experience in international sales & marketing.
- English high level is required.
3. SKILLS
- Very strong organizational skills with the ability to simultaneously manage multiple projects.
- Goal-oriented, creative and self-motivated.
- Outstanding quantitative and analytical skills with the ability to think conceptually.
- Excellent written, communication, presentation and organizational skills required.
- Have detailed knowledge of international e-commerce marketplaces and target product segments.
- Comprehensive understanding of business modeling, planning, and budgeting.
