MIRACEL (docetaxel anhydrous)

DESCRIPTION

MIRACEL (Docetaxel) belongs to the group of taxanes - a class of anticancer agents used in cancer chemotherapy. It is used for treating breast cancer, head and neck cancer, stomach cancer, prostate cancer and non-small-cell lung cancer.

Docetaxel appears twice as active in depolymerization inhibition as paclitaxel. It has incomplete cross-resistance with paclitaxel and do not have cross-resistance with fluorouracil và cisplatin.

CONTRAINDICATIONS

Docetaxel is contra-indicated in patients who have a history of severe hypersensitivity reactions to docetaxel or one of the other ingredients of the product.

Docetaxel should not be used in patients who have a neutrophilic granulocyte count of <1500/mm3.

STORAGE, SHELF LIFE, PACKING UNITS

Storage: Store the vials in dry place below 30oC, protect from light.

Shelf life: 24 months from manufacturing date. Do not use the drug after the expired date.
